If you are considering buying one of these valves but have seen that Ebay is flooded with similar looking cheaper copied valves then before purchasing you need to check they don't use an aluminium piston as they do not work correctly & will cause damage. These valves run seal less so the cheap copies with aluminium pistons will fail and leak as an aluminium piston in an aluminium bore will just wear extremely fast and will leak like mad, plus due to the required clearances of using aluminium pistons the valves also leak massively from new. The Chinese mass manufacturers make them like this simply because it is much cheaper, these manufacturers also have no concept of how the valve is supposed to operate. If you have purchased a cheap valve with an aluminium piston it can be simply tested by blowing through the top hose connection, if you can blow through it (which if it has an aluminium piston you will be able to) then it is useless as it should be sealed. 

Our valves only have the correct Brass pistons (due to the natural lubricational properties of brass) and as a result can be machined to the correct tolerance to enable leak free operation. Ours may not be as cheap as the copies with aluminium pistons, but are are manufactured correctly and most importantly ours actually work!

This very impressive dump valve not only looks fantastic but is used to replace the standard valve that is notorious for failing or leaking on the Impreza Turbo's.

This valve is fully compatible with the Subaru engine management systems and mounts directly in place of the original valve on the intercooler mount. Unlike most BOVS on the market ours is assembled with high temp seals and serviced using the correct graded lubricants.

This Piston / Trumpet Dump Valve will also help prolong the life of your turbo and cure any boost leaks etc associated with the standard factory fitted dump valve. This is especially important if your Subaru Turbo has been modified or had the boost increased. This Valve will hold precious boost pressure without leaking resulting in more power throughout the rev range and creating a fantastic sound on every gear change!
